Christine Holland-Gerson, LMT
My path in caring for others began with a career in social work. I knew I always wanted to help people and I found a way of doing that, working with juveniles in the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services. During this time, I was led to explore a vibrational healing class which ultimately opened the door for me in a path of bodywork. It was soon after this course, I made the decision to study massage therapy. The transition from social work to massage was the easiest decision I ever made in my life. I received my massage therapist license at the beginning of 1998.
The more I explore the process of bodywork with others, the more I discover how profound the work is. Not only does massage feel good, relaxing our muscles and releasing our stress, but over time, it allows our bodies to be brought into balance. There is a mind-body connection that can’t be denied in bodywork therapy. With regular treatment, most clients find that it is easier to achieve a deep state of relaxation and peacefulness and that they begin to live in harmony with their bodies.
